Live a Little, Love a Little: Elvis manages to land two well paying photographer’s jobs and work them both by jumping to and fro from office to office. Delightful, if normal, Presley fare. Cast includes Elvis Presley, Michele Carey, Don Porter, Rudy Vallee, Dick Sargent, Sterling Holloway, and Eddie Hodges. (90 minutes, 1968)
Black Moon Rising: Vaughn’s hot-automobile ring robs the Black Moon, one of those zoom across-the-vinegar-valleys fantasy devices no taller than a munchkin’s shin; high-tech robber Jones chases. Delinquent rocker turned actor Ving wears a coat and tie, although that’s in regards to it for innovation value; this one merits a Large Moon Ascending. Cast includes Tommy Lee Jones, Linda Hamilton, Robert Vaughn, Richard Jaeckel, Bubba Smith, Lee Ving, and William Sanderson. (100 minutes, 1986)

Hannie Caulder: Weird, mystical Western in regards to raped, widowed, and destitute lady who asks reward hunter Culp to instruct her to shoot so she could seek retribution. Nice notion to have poor men Borgnine, Elam and Martin play it a la The 3 Stooges, although laughter is vitiated by their gory killings. Cast includes Raquel Welch, Robert Culp, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam, Strother Martin, Christopher Lee, and Diana Dors. (85 minutes, 1971)
Hold On: Can NASA name a spaceship after Herman’s Loners? That’s the flaming query in this terrible lyrical, set when the group is on a U.S. journey.
